A pair of super stylish De Sede RH 305 cantilever chairs designed by Robert Haussmann. The frame is made from a rounded flat bar chrome plated steel. The upholstery is a tufted tan vinyl. De Sede, established in 1966, are a Swiss company. They made, and still make high quality, timeless, elegant pieces with cutting edge craftsmanship. These two chairs are vintage, circa 1970s. They do however, need some tlc. The vinyl is cracked under the folds and in one or two small places, plus underneath one chair a part of the bar needs replacing. The chrome shows a bit wear in a few places on close inspection. They can still be used as is, but their value and longevity would increase with refurbishment. Today these De Sede chairs sell at well over £1,500 each.
