Italian Ceramic c19th Confit Preserving Pot

A beautiful rustic pale pink stoneware preserving pot from Italy. Made for purpose in the 1800's it is a plain simple shape with two handles. The effect of time however has made it into a rare antique piece. The combination of the pale earthy pink and the brown clay coming through is gorgeous. It shows signs of wear, use and knocks, which just adds to the character and appeal of the piece.
