Campus Lounge Chair by John Morton, 1960s/70s
A pair of Campus Range lounge chairs designed in the 1960's by Architect and Designer John Morton MBE. The chairs were originally created as part of an innovative flat pack furniture range. The seats under the cushions are made with Pirelli rubber and are still in great condition. The back rests and cushions have been reupholstered in a soft ribbed fabric to create an off white and black monochrome design. The frames have been recently repainted by hand in a similar colour to the original white. This means it is not a factory finish and some light brush signs are present if you look closely.
