Maison Jansen 70's Glass, Brass and Chrome Coffee Table

This is a total wow, statement piece. The size is exceptional for a coffee table, and the combination of glass, brass and chrome brings the 70’s glamour to the design. Attributed to Alfredo Freda for Maison Jansen, it certainly has the Hollywood Regency look but also a touch of Modernist style. We also think because of the slightly faded, tarnished ‘I’ve seen some things in my time’ patina that it has a 70’s boho vibe. The huge pane of glass sits in the frame of chrome and brass. The chrome sides can come out so that the glass can be placed more easily in and out of the frame when moving it. It does show wear and age, more on the brass than the chrome. The glass has a chip on one side and a small corner chip which are both more or less hidden against the frame. This doesn’t take away from the impact of the table but adds character and charm.
