A fabulous flared vase by the acclaimed c20th Dutch ceramicist Pieter Groeneveldt. He became a leading innovator in the Netherlands during the mid-century, developing and experimenting with many glazes. The glaze on this vase is known as Chamotte. He ran his studio until 1972. This piece is in good condition. No chips of cracks. One barely noticeable darker patch on the inside glaze where a sticker must have sat.
