The unusal colours of lilac and terracota on this nest of tiled tables are what makes them so appealing. They offer a warm but sophisticated style not often associated with the many mid range tile topped tables produced in the Mid-Century. These were made by Mobelfabrikken Toften, a Danish company. The tiles not only offer some pattern and colour, but are practical for cups, glasses etc, and easy to clean. These are in good condition with only a few marks and signs of age on the teak frames.
