A very handsome and characterful shelving/ bookcase with parquetry decorative detail. Not only is the parquet on the top surface and the back upright edge, but it is also on the bottom shelf which sits out deeper than the other shelves. It does show signs of age with a few nicks and marks but it has gained a lovely range of warm wood colours over time.
