Still Life Painting with Mushrooms by Andrew Bicât, Mid-Century

Entitled 'Still Life With Mushrooms,’ this fabulous etching was created by the artist and teacher André Bicât (1909 - 1996). A small collection of his artworks are held at the Tate galleries. The rich, earthy colours and the subject are gorgeous. It was likely made in the 1950s as it was exhibited at the Leicester Galleries, Leicester Square, London in 1960. It is signed and labelled no.3 of 30 printed. It has the original white painted wooden frame and glass front.
