The Havfrue Pitcher / Jug by Per Lütken
If you take the time to look, you will see what a beautiful Mid-Century design this is by Per Lütken. As the Artistic Director of Holmegaard Per Lütkendesigned many many pieces and he was particularly good at jugs and pitchers. This one is part of the Holmegaard Havfrue series. Havfrue means Mermaid in Danish. The low position of the handle on the tapering body along with the petal shape of the lip are lovely. This one is unsigned but is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use on the bottom.
