1960s Heal's Storage Coffee Table

This is a rather quirky piece of 1960s furniture. It is basically a storage cabinet on legs which can also be used as a table. The top surface is made of two sliding doors with cool looking handles running down the outside edges, These sit in black plastic runners and open to reveal a deep storage cabinet. Might be a fabulous space for storing books, magazines or even toys or art materials. It was part of a furniture range that Heals sold in the 1960s and we also have two matching square coffee tables in the same range coming to the website soon. It does show a few signs of age with a small bump and a little loss of veneer on some edges if you look closely.
