1970s Pine & Leather Sling Armchair after Karen Mobring
A pair of very collectable super stylish 1970s pine and leather armchairs. A very iconic Swedish design of the period, and highly desirable today. Certainly in the style of designs by Karen Mobring and Borge Mogensen and could be attributed to one of them. The leather is slung within a chunky pine frame and buckled underneath. These two have been well loved and used. They definetly show wear and tear. The leather has gained marks and colour from all the use, plus a repair to some of the tabs. The frames are solid and stable with couple of bumps. Feed these chairs with leather conditioner and they should go on and on. Fall in love with the ‘lived in' character and cool look that these rare chairs offer.
