J39 Folkstole Chairs by Børge Mogensen
A set of four J39 chairs by the Danish designer Børge Mogensen. Designed in 1947, the chairs became a symbol of the new simplified design, which heralded the Danish modern midcentury style. It was loved by so many homes that it also became known as The People's Chair. This set is late c20th by FDB Mobler. They are made with a solid beech frame and a papercord seat. They are solid, sturdy and comfy. The condition is good, no damage, just marks as expected. The seats do show colour differences from absorbing materials overtime.
