Originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier the LC2 sofa has long been an iconic piece of his hugely influential and groundbreaking work. Le Corbusier was at the forefront of Brutalist design and architecture. The furniture he designed refined industrial design into simple, stylish, comfortable pieces. The LC2 was re-issued in the 1960s and has been made by various manufacturers since. This three seater sofa was made in the 1980s. The good quality leather is a fantastic dark green colour which sits really well against the silver chrome frame. The frame carries 11 cushions in all, all of which can have their covers taken off. It is in lovely condition with minimal signs of marks and wear.
