Candleholder in Black Cast Iron by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk, Mid-Century

This gorgeous, small sculptural piece was designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard and produced by Dansk in the late 1950s / early 60s. Made with cast iron, it also has brass rings around each of the eight candleholders. Each holder can unscrew and be moved as desired, they are sized for the smaller taper candles. It is stamped underneath. The condition is good for it’s age. It shows some wear to the black and slight traces of wax.
